My Story
Here Now Body is a forum of blog articles, resources for pain, and yoga classes I have created. These resources come from my decades long experience of struggling with and ultimately recovering from chronic pain. The concept of my “here now body” embodies the teachings of pain neuroscience and mindfulness that have truly given me back my life in a way that traditional medical models did not.
My Here Now Body is the book I read every day when I wake up, every time I choose to move, and every night before I go to bed. It is the story of my body, here, now, today. How does it want to move? How can it move differently? How do my beliefs hold it back?
My hope is that these resources are a jumping off point for you. My hope is that you will not have to endure the years of pain I did, and that some information, stories, and a little curiosity may set you free.
